Consciência cultural em sala de aula: a importância de um currículo plural e sensível

Este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a importância de uma abordagem de ensino de música culturalmente sensível no contexto da Orff-Schulwerk, considerando tanto a utilização de materiais provenientes de diferentes culturas quanto a postura do educador diante de um ensino musical culturalmente diverso. As profundas transformações socioculturais ocorridas no mundo desde o surgimento da Schulwerk constituem um dos principais estímulos para esta discussão, assim como a crescente necessidade de formação docente crítica frente aos desafios e conceitos emergentes do século XXI. Tal perspectiva demanda do educador consciência e abertura para o diálogo intercultural, reconhecendo a diversidade como elemento constitutivo do fazer musical. A discussão apoia-se em pesquisas e reflexões recentes da abordagem Orff-Schulwerk, especialmente no que se refere às suas ressignificações no contexto contemporâneo da educação musical.
